Electrical Safety Training is meant as an overview of electrical safety for individuals with restricted electrical training that as part of their job, may be potentially exposed to electrical hazards. Electricity is essential to modern life, both at home and at work. Some employees work with electricity directly like electricians, electronic workers, and power line workers. Many people work around electricity but are not qualified to directly handle electrical components, or in other words, not permitted to be possibly exposed to live electrical parts.
Who Should Take This Course?
This training course is acceptable for workers of all levels, including supervisors, managers, full-time employees and part-time staff, who are expected to operate on or near power as part of the job role. The course was designed as an introduction to electric safety and so no prerequisite instruction is needed. Jobs that may find the instruction especially useful include, but Aren’t limited to:

The aims of this program are to:
- Promote electrical safety in office environments

- ensure a uniform, fair procedure for certification that is available to everybody who is qualified
This certificate does not have an expiry date. But, according to industry best practice guidelines, the recommended renewal interval for this particular training is 1 year.
